Those who know me have probably figured out by now that monochrome fractals aren't always my cup of tea. If you ask me for critique, it is very likely you will hear "more color variation." So, it says a lot that I have completely fallen in love with Freedom, by ~guagapunyaimel. Between the sinusoidal (I think :P) distortion, the slight grain, and the blur creating a DOF effect, there is an air of "realism" to this: one gets the sense that you might actually see something similar through a microscope. All in all, it is very well done.
